When I first started this photography business, I didn't know where it would lead me, or how it would quickly it would grow. I just knew the clients I would meet, were going to always get my very best performance! But there is one vision I did have in mind...
If you've been following my blog posts for the last year and a half, you may find that my main focus isn't only the photos shown or the beautiful details, but it is in fact sharing the light of being a follower of Jesus Christ. He blessed me with this passion and provided ways for me to quickly learn the skill. And because this was a gift from him, I wanted to use my blog posts as a platform to share his light.
But this blog post is a very special blog post. During the exchanging of their vows with all of their family and friends gathered around, Acacia and Chris shared the light with everyone in that room, including me. From the moment I met them, I knew they were a powerful couple! They're extremely gracious towards one another, and their hearts are so soft and pure.

When I was getting positioned for Acacia to walk down the aisle, her reaction to seeing Chris was moving and passionate, only for me to turn around to capture the same emotional reaction from Chris. I was in tears! There was so much heart felt energy in this room, and it wasn't just for the love of one another, but it was their love for God. They place him right in the center of their relationship. During their trial years, they'll get through it with the strong foundation of their faith, they'll always know to trust in the one above and their loved ones present will give them the guidance and support while also praising with them during their future celebrations. This wasn't just a ceremony of Acacia and Chris becoming one, this was the ceremony of Acacia, Chris and God coming together with the movement of the Holy Spirit in the ballroom, blessing their marriage while all of their loved ones were present to witness this outstanding, heartwarming moment.
This is exactly how God would have wanted it and they followed his lead.
Acacia and Chris, this was a moment that I will cherish for years and years. It was a ceremony where you felt the presence of our Father. Thank you for sharing the light with all of us, and for being one of the best examples you can be to your daughters, family, friends, and those whom you have yet to meet.
You, are both the light this world needs!
